How Fast Does the Car Go?
While top speed is certainly important, the competition focuses more on acceleration, turning and breaking. That being said you can expect 0-60 mph under 4 seconds (faster than most commuter cars) and a top speed of around 75 mph

Meetings
We meet in the Motor Sport Lab (MSL) on the first floor of the Engineering Building. North east corner (room 124) down the hall from the prototyping lab. Exact meeting times and dates will be coordinated through Discord. Come and check us out!

Does This Count as School Credit?
Only students who are on the capstone team will receive school credit, everyone else is considered a volunteer.

The Competition
The FSAE Competition is held in Michigan at the Michigan International Speedway in June each year. 75 teams from anywhere in the world can compete in the 8 events over the 3 days. There are 5 dynamic events and 3 static along with many tests for safety. More details about those can be found in the rules.
